Online Fraud Losses Nearly Double to RM2.97 Billion in 2025, Home Ministry Data Shows
Malaysia's online fraud losses nearly doubled to RM2.97 billion in 2025 from RM1.57 billion the previous year, with bogus investment schemes accounting for the largest share. The National Scam Response Centre has improved fund recovery.
