The Malaysian Army has identified two personnel killed in a grenade-throwing training explosion at Hobart Camp in Gurun, Kedah. Both died en route to hospital. A full investigation has been ordered.
Private Siti Khadijah Sungip, 24, of the Malaysian Army's Royal Engineer Regiment, was buried in Kluang following her death in a training accident at Hobart Camp, Kedah. A fellow serviceman also perished in the explosion.
